I’m a nature artist and educator with a passion to connect people to nature through observation and focused attention. The practice of keeping a nature journal has allowed me to reconnect to two of my lifelong joys: art and nature. From 2013-2023, I lived in the United Arab Emirates with my husband and three boys. Nature journaling was a tool that I used to explore and connect deeply with the new landscapes that became our second home. I started the Abu Dhabi Nature Journal Club and facilitated workshops that introduced people to the practice of keeping a nature journal. Now that I've returned to the US, I hope to share the joy of rediscovering the natural spaces around me through my work.
